And we support the intercession of the Syro-Catholic martyrs of Baghdad, Coptic Egypt, Sudan Darfur, those in Turkey, Nigeria, Algeria, etc.. For, as Tertullian said already, with a profound theological vision, Semen est sanguis Christianorum martyrum! "The blood of martyrs is the seed of Christians" (Apology 50, 13).
