The Christian festival (1)
The sense of celebration, we are told, is growing in our society. It's a festive society. For a yes or a no, it comes together, possibly abroad. Everything is an excuse to celebrate : A sporting event, a birthday, new year ... The one meets crowds heading to a place, each his bottle in his hand. Christianity is festive in nature. We celebrate the coming of the Lord on earth and liberation from sin. We celebrate the different stages of our lives.
