The "Court of the Gentiles" in Paris 24-25 March
At the instigation of Pope Benedict XVI, a series of events will take place in Paris on 24 and 25 March, under the title of "Court of the Gentiles," to foster debate between believers and nonbelievers
. Under the chairmanship of Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi will be held three conferences on "Religion, light and reason together." The first will be held on 24 to Unesco, with the participation of Tony Blair, former British prime minister who converted to Catholicism in 2007, Giuliano Amato, former president of the Italian Council of Ministers, scheduled for March 24 in the morning followed by a gala evening. The President of the Republic, Nicolas Sarkozy could be present. The second symposium will be held at the Institute of France, with a probable intervention of the Minister of Culture Frederic Mitterrand, who raises the question of God.
The third is held at the Sorbonne, Valerie Pecresse, minister of higher education and research should then be expressed.
A roundtable conclusion will meet at College of Bernardine.
Finally, the icing on the cake will be an intervention by a quarter of an hour video of Pope Benedict XVI to address youth gathered on the cathedral square Notre-Dame de Paris, young people are invited to reach many, because there is no need of invitation.
